Raised on the peninsula, I'm a California native. I attended San Francisco State University where I studied nursing and met my husband, Tony. We raised three sons and helped raise several grandchildren. We enjoyed traveling and visited many countries. Now I'm enjoying being home maintaining the properties with my family.

I grew up north of Pittsburgh with one brother and parents who were both chemists. From an early age, travel, gardening, libraries, theater, and museums played a big role in my life, and still do. I attended the College of Wooster in Ohio, and after further study had careers both as an occupational therapist and as a special education teacher. I love chocolate and craft projects!

Hello! I’ve been a member of our church for over twenty years. My highlights here include many mission trips for Hurricane Katrina rebuilding. I’ve enjoyed getting to know people by serving on committees. Outside of work, I travel and spend time with animals.

Retired English examiner and artist, I am happily back in San Anselmo, my home town. I keep myself busy pet-sitting and going to our exercise class here in Duncan Hall where you can see my little stained glass window I made at age 11! Although I’ve lived almost 8 years overseas, I’m a 5th generation Bay Area kid.

I am a resident of Fairfax and moved here from San Francisco during COVID. There, I attended a non-denominational church. I feel very welcomed at FPCSA. I look forward to being a deacon and using my time in sharing the work of this group. I have experience in helping seniors as a companion or driving to medical appointments. I am retired as a Building Manager and I teach Tai Chi for seniors.

I love being a part of this church, connecting with people, and being of service. I enjoy playing the piano, cooking and eating, walking Marin trails, playing computer games and being with family and friends. I’ve been married to Ron since 1966 and our son, Paul, is a physics teacher.

I have been everything from restaurant hostess to newspaper reporter to college administrator and always a Mom. In my retirement/volunteer life, I supervise groups of volunteers for various dinner/housing programs serving the food & housing-insecure communities.

I share my life with the love of my life Karl. I am a California credentialed Master Teacher and have worked at San Anselmo Preschool since 1983. I started singing at age 5 and as an adult I sing first soprano in FPCSA choir.

I was a public defender for over 30 years in Contra Costa County. Now retired, I keep busy with my family, friends and volunteer projects. I especially love being surrounded by books and book lovers at Townbooks in San Anselmo and by wonderful singers in our church choir. I feel such gratitude to live in such a beautiful garden of a town.

Jen Epstein lives in Novato and works in Human Resources. Jen is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Deacons, oversees the Deacon's fund, and helps distribute funds to those in need. Jen is married, and her son, Mark, is in college in North Carolina. Jen has two dogs and enjoys reading and knitting.

Raised in Winnetka, Illinois, I went to college in Louisiana (Art History) and then worked in investment banking in New York. After moving to Marin County in 1987, I spent 20 years in asset management and financial analysis. I received an MA from Dominican in Counseling Psychology and am now in private practice. I live in San Anselmo and have been a member and served as Co-chair of the San Anselmo Historical Commission.

My husband and I joined FPCSA in 1995 and I’m thrilled to join the deacons again. I’m a retired physical therapist. i enjoy time with my children and grandchildren, volunteering at the San Francisco Botanical Garden and as a Master Gardener, sewing, and playing the piano. Singing is a huge joy for me. A highlight of my week is singing in the choir on Sunday morning.
