Gabriel Fauré Requiem
Join the First Presbyterian Chancel Choir and Orchestra for a moving presentation of Gabriel Fauré’s beloved Requiem during Sunday worship on June 7 at 10:00 AM. Under the direction of Music Director Daniel Canosa, this luminous and deeply comforting work features soloists Pavel Baransky, baritone, and Katelan Austin, soprano. Unlike many dramatic settings of the Requiem text, Fauré’s masterpiece is known for its serene beauty, tenderness, and message of peace. All are welcome to experience this special morning of worship and music.
