A food drive for Ritter Center will be, Sunday, May 31, from 9 am to 1 pm at St. Anselm parking lot. Our MOC Team and the Church and Society Committee have accepted the invitation from the MOC Team at St. Anselm to join in a second food drive for the Ritter Center. All food pantries are overloaded with requests these days, but the need at Ritter Center is deemed particularly acute.
The plan is for people to put their food in a bag or box in the trunk of their car, drive to the parking lot next to St. Anselm church, where a volunteer will open the trunk, remove the food and put it in a truck for delivery to Ritter Center. Thus there will be no chance for anyone to be exposed to coronavirus. Food staples are most highly desired. Monetary contributions to Ritter Center are also most welcome.
