SEW/MAKE FACIAL COVERINGS for THE STREET CHAPLAINCY

Updated: May 15

If you would like to help make facial coverings for the homeless, here are two options - one "no sew" and one pattern. Use materials you have at home that are a tightly woven cotton fabric such as quilting fabric, cotton sheets or T-shirt fabric.

Package them in a plastic bag and donate the face coverings in the book drops at one of the following safe drop-off locations:

  1. Downtown San Rafael Library; 1100 E Street, San Rafael 94901

  2. Pickleweed Library: 50 Canal Street, San Rafael 94901

  3. Terra Linda Community Center: 670 Del Ganado Road, San Rafael 94903

The City will wash all before distribution and include educational information for best care, reminders for our social distancing and hygiene.

Thank you for doing what you all can do!  Your support of our homeless neighbors is so appreciated.
