A time of testing, seeking independence, figuring out what it means to
leave childhood behind - these middle years are perhaps the most difficult
for young people as they struggle with the far-reaching concepts of
Christian faith and values. For that reason we lend an exceptional amount
of support to the youth of our congregation. Our Youth Ministry Team,
comprised of committed adults and young people, plans an ambitious
program each year that encompasses all the elements inherent to the
congregation: worship, study, fellowship, mission and community service.
Purely social outings share the calendar with creative fundraisers,
mission trips, church camp, local volunteer projects - even musical
productions such as "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
In addition, our youth often participate in regular worship services
as musicians and lay liturgists. Whether or not you're a member of the
First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo, we encourage you to have
your 6th through 12th graders check out our youth program; it will
make a difference in their lives - and in yours.
