Our Statement of Purpose
Our mission is to worship God, love one
another, and serve God by ministering to others throughout the world, as
well as to fulfill the Six Great Ends of the Presbyterian Church:
To proclaim the Gospel for the Salvation
of Humankind in worship and in service.
To provide shelter, nurture, and spiritual
fellowship for the children of God by fostering a dedicated, cohesive,
vibrant, and inclusive faith community where all are valued, welcomed and
known, and where all are committed to the church's mission, active in
stewardship, and nurtured in their spiritual growth.
To maintain divine worship which is
alive and compelling, which thoughtfully integrates liturgy, sermons, music,
and prayers, and which, while generally traditional, is also open to other
worship opportunities.
To preserve the truth through divine
worship and the expectation that we must constantly learn, pray, share our
faith, and be involved in the church's mission.
To promote social righteousness
through proclamation of the Word, mission giving, hands-on projects, and
seeking Christ in each person we meet.
To exhibit the kingdom of heaven by
our witness, work, and word.
Together we strive to serve God, our
community, and those in need.
