Worship services are held at 10 am on Sundays, and are largely traditional in style. Our preachers are thoughtful and engaging, and sermons are generally based on Biblical texts from the common lectionary used by many denominations.
Worship services typically last about an hour, and are followed by a coffee hour on the patio or in the Fireside Room during inclement weather.
Children are welcome here. About fifteen minutes into the service, we take a few moments for a Children’s Sermon (we call it “Time for Young Disciples”). Children are invited by name to the front of the sanctuary. After a short lesson, they have the choice to stay in church with you, attend the nursery, or go to Sunday School.
Our worship service is graced with a vibrant musical heritage—a choir, two world‐class organs, piano, and other instrumental music. We sign old favorites and new hymns as well—there is usually something for everyone!
