We understand our Christian faith as a call to service. We feel a deep call to participate in acts of compassion and social justice—here in our community and in the broader world.
We see ourselves as an “equipping church”, which means we are committed to help people better understand their unique blend of gifts, talents and abilities and to use these gifts for personal growth while serving God—at home, at work, at church, and in the larger world.

First Sunday in Lent, we explore "Vulnerable Love" in worship and our Sunday Seminar Bible study of John 3:1-17; also by writing letters to Governor Brown about fracking. We'll show Brene Brown's TEDTalk in the after-worship Bible study.
