What comes to mind when someone asks you about family? Perhaps your immediate or extended family, for some it a church family or work family could readily spring to mind. The term family probably means something a little different to each of us based on our own experiences. Scripture and church liturgy often describe people as being a part of God’s family or being God’s children. What was meant by this concept of family two thousand years ago? What does this mean for us today?
Join us for the mid-week Bible Study, based on the Horizons Bible Study “Dispatches to God’s Household” by The Rev. Nancy Benson-Nicol and led by our Seminary Intern, Dan Robertson, beginning October 3rd at 10:15 am in the Fireside Room. It will take place every first and third Wednesday through early April.
