“Singing for Khitam”, a concert of vocal music to benefit Khitam, a 13-year-old deaf girl living in a refugee camp in Gaza, will be held on Sunday Jan 27 at 4:00 pm in Duncan Hall. “Sing We Enchanted,” a local Marin a cappella chorus, will sing selections from their repertoire. Palestinian-American professional singer Soha Al-Jurf will also perform and read from “Even My Voice is Silence,”, her moving account of returning to Palestine in search of her father’s village. Suggested donation at the door: $10 – $20 sliding scale, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
