Inquirer’s Class

If you desire to make a commitment to full membership, or just want to find out more about us, the next Inquirer’s Classes will be held March  11. These gatherings consist of a time of fellowship, some reflections on the Christian faith as it applies to us here and now, a short course in what it means to be a Presbyterian, and an introduction to some of the programs, leaders, and opportunities for involvement within our congregation.  Our next class will take place on May 15, 2011, following worship.

After attending such a class, should you choose to become a member of our church, you will be welcomed formally during a service of worship, followed by an all-church welcoming celebration afterward.  A member of the congregation will be appointed as your shepherd or sponsor to help facilitate your transition into what our church offers.  In addition, a connecting team member will set up an interview to help discern where your interests might lead you as you participate in the life of our congregation.  A person may become a member by the following means:  Confession of Faith and Baptism, Transfer of Membership, Reaffirmation of Faith, or Affiliate Membership.
