Marin Baroque presents “Family Ties”

Marin Baroque with Daniel Canosa, Music Director, presents Family Ties, 8 pm, Saturday, November 18th, in the sanctuary. On the program are works by father and son Leopold and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and brothers Johann Michael and Franz Joseph Haydn, including F.J. Haydn’s wonderful Missa Brevis Sancti Joannes de Deo (“Kleine Orgelmesse”), Hob XXII:7. The program also features the playful Toy Symphony by L. Mozart and selections from both of W. Mozart’s beatific Vesperae solennes de Confessore, KV 321 & 339.

The orchestra: Sara Usher, Tyler Lewis, violins; Farley Pearce, violoncello; John Dornenburg, violone; Yuko Tanaka, harpsichord, organ.
