We believe that the Christian life extends beyond Sunday morning. There are many ways to get involved at First Pres—including fellowship, study, and small groups. We hope you find something here that makes you feel connected. If there is a project or group you’d like to start, we can help you make it happen.
Small groups are the wellspring of our congregational life, creating lifelong friendships as well as an opportunity to study, work, and socialize with each other. More about small groups→
Life is full of transitions: marriages and divorces, family births and deaths, relocations and career changes, retirement, graduation, changes in economic circumstances, the “empty nest” – and all of these transitions can leave us wondering which end is up. The Transition Support Group is a community of encouragement and support during these times. We “check in,” offer prayers of support and study a book together. The group is facilitated by Pastor Joanne Whitt, and meets every Wednesday morning in the Conference Room in the church office, from 9:00 am to 10:30 . More about Transition Support→
First Presbyterian Church San Anselmo is an inclusive community welcoming all who come through our doors as members of God’s family. All programs of the church are open to everyone, members and non-members alike. We would be honored to serve God with you. More about church membership→
