Part of our mission at First Presbyterian Church of San Anselmo is to
ensure that our children feel comfortable with all aspects of Christian
worship, including regular adult worship services. That's why we invite
all children to attend the first part of every Sunday morning service
before heading off to their Sunday School classes. In addition, at least
once a month we plan a service in which older youth participate as lay
liturgists or in other capacities. And on special occasions during the
year we let our youth plan the entire service themselves. The results
of these efforts are invariably both entertaining and awe-inspiring.
These children, our children, are truly children of God - and they
are fantastic.
