The Celebration of Baptism and Communion

There are two sacraments within the Presbyterian Church - two
ceremonies in which we formally celebrate the presence of Jesus Christ.
The first, baptism, is our way of affirming that all people are children
of God. Rather than only bestowing grace on the one to be baptized, we
celebrate, as a congregation, the fact that the grace, or love, of God
already exists in each and every one of us. During the brief and joyful
ceremony, we ask that parents declare their commitment to instilling a
love of Jesus Christ in their child; as a church family we in turn vow
to support that child in his or her Christian faith. A child of any age,
or an adult, for that matter, may be baptized in our church; if you are
interested in baptism for a member of your family, please contact our
Pastor, or someone in the church office; they'll be glad to talk to you
about it.

The sacrament of the Lord's Supper, or communion, is celebrated on
the first Sunday of every month. We invite anyone who wants to renew
their personal commitment to Jesus Christ, including children, to join
us for this simple, but profoundly moving ritual.
