First Presbyterian Church San Anselmo is an inclusive community, welcoming all who come through our doors as members of God’s family. All programs of the church are open to everyone, members and non-members alike. We would be honored to serve God with you.
During the year we have Welcome Gatherings for those interested in finding out more. A light lunch is served and during our time together, several church members introduce some of the programs and opportunities for involvement that our congregation offers. Our pastor, Joanne Whitt, leads a short course in what it means to be a Presbyterian, and facilitates the discussion afterward.
After attending such a gathering, should you choose to become a member of our church, you will be welcomed formally during a service of worship. A person may become a member by any of the following means: Confession of Faith and Baptism, Transfer of Membership, Reaffirmation of Faith, or Affiliate Membership.
Please contact Mary Waetjen at 456-8783 or Phyllis Schlobohm at 388-3082 if you have any further questions. Our next Welcome Gathering will take place on March 16, 2014.

First Sunday in Lent, we explore "Vulnerable Love" in worship and our Sunday Seminar Bible study of John 3:1-17; also by writing letters to Governor Brown about fracking. We'll show Brene Brown's TEDTalk in the after-worship Bible study.
